I love that you captured those candles. I wonder what words were said over them when they were lit.
Yes, I wondered the same thing! There’s also this shrine at the Mission that people had left candles outside of. (That’s where I took this photo: https://www.instagram.com/p/BOOEldMAo4-/) It was windy and many of the candles had gone out. I wondered about the ones that were still lit and if those prayers had been answered.
