Animalia exhibition

Art with animals as the subject, which explores their complex relationship with humans.

    Natural artist Laney will produce a wildlife painting in front of viewers from beginning to end.

Sourdough 101 Cooking Class

The team behind Sea Wolf Bakers will teach the key points of bread baking in this hands-on class. Everyone will leave with their own jar of starter, a recipe for Sea Wolf’s white sourdough bread, and a Book Larder tea towel for proofing your lovely new loaf. 2:30–4:30pm at the Residence of the Ambassador of Japan. The Women’s Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts organizes a presentation on the art of the Japanese Tea and a special viewing of Japanese tea utensils and Hester Bateman silver. To be followed by afternoon tea. Reservations are required.
